Appliances from Dolgellau, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Barmouth, Towyn, Bala and Harlech and the incident command unit from Rhyl are in attendance at a fire on Tal y Waen mountain, Islaw'r Dre, Dolgellau.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.33pm today (Tuesday 7^th April) reporting the fire on the mountain.

Firefighters are currently using beaters at the incident which currently involves 40 square acres of gorse.
