Firefighters were called to Ysgol Ein Harglwyddes in Bangor last night to tackle a fire in a detached classroom building.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident at the school on Ffordd Caernarfon at 7.29pm last night (Friday, February 28).

Two appliances (one from Bangor and one from Menai Bridge) were at the scene tackling the blaze.

At this time it is unclear as to how the fire began and an investigation into its cause will be undertaken.

There are no further details at present.
